The Ormeau Fair is turning into one of the Greatest Weekends to pen into your diary and there is very good reason for that. Today we'll take a look at the 3 Best Fun Things to do at the Ormeau Fair. Keep in mind that admission is free over the 2 days and you can be assured you'll want to come back next year as well.

1. The Saturday Night Movie and Fire Works

It goes without saying that being able to watch a free latest release movie on a beautiful winter's night on the Gold Coast is going to be great. When we asked attendee's what was their favourite activity at last year's show, it was the Evening movie. The teenagers will love this as they'll be able to hang out with their friends in a safe environment as the whole fair is patrolled by security guards.

2. The Classic Muscle Cars on Display

An amazing array of motor vehicle prestige is on display with many of Queensland's classic cars on both the Saturday and Sunday. Whilst many would think this is only for the men you can be assured that the whole family will be admiring these beautiful beasts. You'll see convertibles, corvette stingray's, 1948 Ford Deluxe, Mustangs and many more classic cars from over the years.

What I like most about the classic cars are the people that own them. They are so passionate about the hobbies and are more than welcome to sit and have a chat about their beautiful cars and the time it takes to keep them in order. Go and have a chat as they'd love to say hi.

3. The Live Stage Shows On Both Days

If you love live entertainment then bring your dancing shoes and get on down to the Ormeau Fair. On both Saturday and Sunday you'll be entertained by the local talent from dancing kids to professional singers. Local school's put on a great display allowing their parents to see how all their hard work has paid off. Bring the video camera as the performances are truly spectacular. In addition to this there are many dancing schools showing their stuff so feel free to learn a few fun dancing moves as well.
