Ormeau Lion's Club comes to the aid of Sophie Hastings

How did you come to know Sophie and that she needed a new wheelchair?

Ormeau Lions first came to know of Sophie's plight as a result of a member hearing about her at their local church. Originally Sophie required a new skin every time she grows, a condition referred to as Rett Syndrome.

Having heard of her condition Ormeau Lions have donated enough money for Sophie to enjoy a new 'skin' as she continues to grow. In addition to providing a new skin for the last 2 years we also raised the funds to buy a new lightweight wheelchair.

In addition to Ormeau Lions contributing both Langs Building supplies and Jacobs Well Real Estate contributed as well.
