The 9th annual Ormeau
Lions Fair for 2015 is almost here!! This year we have had to change our dates
NOW TO BE HELD THE FIRST WEEKEND IN SEPTEMBER. Highlight
Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September in your calendar. This is the “Northern Gold Coast's Mini Ekka” , with lots of
FREE entertainment on two stages on both days.
This year we will be having the
Buick Club showing off their cars, and on Sunday there is an open “Classic VehiclesShow & Shine” day, with
registration online www.ormeaufair.com.au, entry fee $5, and great prizes for the “Peoples'
We have a new interactive display - LEGO. For $2 entry fee you can look and play.
Enjoy the Primary School Choir
& Dance competitions on Saturday and the High School Dance and Battle of the Bands on Sunday. Schools are
invited to register online at www.ormeaufair.com.au to be in the running for $1,000 1st prize in each
The popular VIP Dog Show
and baby animals at Viv's Animal Farm are back also Sideshow Alley
and Saturday night fireworks.
The Fair is held on the Brien
Harris Oval, Peachey Road, Ormeau – western side of the M1, halfway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast – take
exit 45 from either direction.
entertainment commences at 8am each day, and Admission is FREE.
The Fair is the major
fund-raising event for the Ormeau Lions Club each year, and all proceeds are distributed back to local schools
and community organisations such as sporting clubs, volunteer services and worthy charities. Major sponsors this year include The City of Gold Coast, Holcim Quarriy
and Zupp Property Group.

The Ormeau Fair is in its 9th year and the attendance at each year's fair has been growing
rapidly and we are expecting for 2015 to be the best year yet. To gain a full appreciation of the work that

With the tough economic times what better way to entertain the whole family than with 2 full
days of fun in the sun with heaps of activities and best of all Admission is Free. That's right,
the whole family can get in for free and parking is free. What more could you ask for in order to get the kids out
of the house and having some fun.
Many people ask about the activities that are on both the Saturday and Sunday. We

are constantly updating it as the time draws nearer. We will also be listing the various stalls as
stallholder confirm their attendance.

Photo Gallery Section and that has been split up into various sections to make
viewing easier. You can view the Classic Cars, Stage shows, the fun rides, farm animals, Fire works and so much more.
Giving back to the community
The best part about The Ormeau Fair is that it is run by a group of volunteers from the Ormeau
Lions Club who proudly support and run events to put money back into the local community. In order to help build
your own local community, come on down and enjoy the fun and games and remember, all monies raised go straight back
into the local Ormeau Community.
