Stall Operators - FAQs

Where is it?

Brien Harris Oval Ormeau. Peachey Road, Exit 45. Head down Peachey road off the M1 Motorway and you will see the Brien Harris Oval on your right as per below.

When can I set up my stall?

You can arrive either Friday or Saturday. Ormeau Lions club members will be on site to hand out maps to show you where your stall is. You can arrive 1st thing Saturday morning and people will be there setting up from 5:30am.

What hours is the Ormeau Fair running?
Saturday: 8am – 9pm
Sunday: 8am – 4pm

How do I pay for my stall and do I get a receipt?

Payment must be made in advance - before 21 July 2013.  You will be sent an invoice when booking is confirmed and you will be advised of method of payment on that invoice.

What times will security be available?

Security has been booked from 10pm Friday night to 6am Monday morning to cover our security needs.  Although this security is available throughout the evening, no responsibility can be taken for loss of expensive items left on site overnight.

What do I do if my site requires power?

There will be no power available for stall owners unless you bring your own generator. If you need power, bring a generator. With running a fair on a sporting oval, there is no simply solution to provide power for everyone.

Can I donate money to the Ormeau Lions club?

Yes. We love your donations and 100% of the money goes straight back into the local community. The Ormeau Lions are 100% volunteers and the Ormeau Fair is our major fund raiser each year, so please give generously.

As they say, people who donate lots of money are much better lovers.
