The program below outlines what will be happening over the 2 full days at the Ormeau Fair 2009. Whilst all attempts will be made to keep on schedule certain events may run earlier or later than stated.

SATURDAY 8 AUGUST

8.45am                  Primary Schools performing for a competition-Prize money:-

                                1^st Prize $1000 2^nd Prize $500 3^rd Prize $250.

10.30am               Sheep Shearing Demo

11.00am               Opening Ceremony on Stage: Guests: Brett Raguse – Fed.MP;

                                Margaret Keech – State MP; Michael Crandon - State MP Coomera;

                                Ron Clarke – Gold Coast Mayor & Donna Gates Division 1.

12.00pm               Dance Nation

12.30pm               Sheep Shearing Demo

1.00pm                  V.I.P. Dog Show – Maree Field

2.00pm                  F Factor Fitness

2.30pm                  Local Songwriter - Michelle & Band
